Tang Museum website

The website for the Tang Museum, the contemporary art museum at Skidmore College, features a dynamic background. The layers of its pattern change from minute to minute, and represent the current number of website visitors from on Skidmore’s campus, and from off campus; and the wind speed and direction outside the museum. The patterned border recurs in printed materials we developed for the Tang.

As a teaching museum, the Tang makes great use of our flexible content management system, Economy. The website constantly expands to accommodate diverse narratives about exhibitions, public programs, and the many ways the Tang works with faculty and students to support liberal arts, museum practice, and cultural production.
