Toledo Museum of Art
Interactive screens visualizing visitor feedback in real time.
We were approached by the Toledo Museum of Art to design a set of screens for visitors to engage with the museum’s new exhibition of its American art collection.
Feedback from iPad screens is visualized, as part of visual identity of the exhibition, in real time and in public. Making the process of curation an open one, curators will use the ongoing visitor data to make changes to the exhibition across its two-year run.
Decorative video playing. Hover or focus to show pause control.
With almost 1K visitor responses across the first few weeks of the show, the visualization operated as a racetrack or leaderboard showing how viewer sentiment changes changes across time.
